Exmouth and the Ocean Adventurers
On our first day in Exmouth we rode across to the Big Prawn and then spent some time in the Ningaloo Discovery Centre Aquarium. We drove through town and then to the lighthouse. It’s a very different feel from other Pilbara towns here - think it is because of the naval base presence! The next day we went on a glass bottom boat tour. The boys were amazing jumping off the back of the boat and having a snorkel over all the coral of the Ningaloo reef. The ocean water was lovely and we saw lots of different types of fish and coral! An afternoon by the pool (the ocean water was warmer and quieter than the pool!) and the boys got to play with some kids at the playground. School holidays have hit and it is such a contrast to what we have been used to so far! After a slow morning the next day we took a drive out to Turquoise Bay-we have only read and heard good things about it. It is amazing and deserves all the hype!
