Broome time

Another few days in Broome. A few dinners on Cable Beach watching the sunset. Unseasonable heat….suffocating heat all day and all night. Stopping at Divers Tavern for dinner in the air con and drinking cold water a big treat :)

Cloud cover meant we only saw about 5 seconds of stairway to the moon - but as an old man said behind us ‘we get the idea’! We returned the next night but did not see the moon at all. The sun was also non existent on Cable Beach due to cloud cover.

Sunsets at Cable Beach.

Scaling cliff and rock face to find dinosaur footprints at lowest tide at Gantheume Point. We walked right over one but luckily another seeker pointed it out to us!

Hermit crabs at Reddell Beach on Gantheume Point. It was low tide on these mud flats. Super slippery rocks and odd sea life. Meant to be dinosaur footprints here too but we could not see!

Tyler reminded me of myself with a big old rock (brick) on Blackpool Beach around the same age!

High tide at Cable Beach

More sunset pics…

And the rock pools…

Boys loved the Malcom Douglas Croc Park. I thought it was terrifying!

Mini golf at Cable Beach General Store - attached to the caravan park.

Can you spot the frilled neck lizard trying to hide from us on the tree?

Sunset sillies - that tide comes in quick!

Ah the serenity…never got old!

Elliott plane spotting….the planes and helicopters were so loud at all hours that we felt like we were camping on the runway!
